Condition I project

Developing from the identity painting series, the main themes of this project were anonymity, loss of identity and imprisonment.

Historical events such as the Holocaust and recent issues of imprisonment (such as Nelson Mandela, Guantanamo Bay, Abu Ghraib) were influential in how these images were created and what they represent.

Hopefully you will find them both atmospheric and suggestive. Continued in condition II.
